Bonne Terre, MO – On July 22, 2025, at approximately 10:15 pm, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a single car accident on Berry Rd near Shannon Rd. According to the MSHP, a 2020 Buick Encore being driven by a 26-year-old female from Bonne Terre was traveling southbound on Berry Rd. The driver was going too fast for the road conditions and failed to negotiate a turn in the road. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and hit a guardrail. It was deflected back onto the roadway and traveled off the opposite side of the road and flipped over. The driver was then ejected from the vehicle.

The 26-year-old female was transported by the air evac helicopter to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries.
