Farmington, MO – On July 6, 2025 at approximately 11:30 am, Farmington Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Hilltop Place Drive in Farmington. Farmington PD Chief Bullock stated officers found a male victim laying on the ground with gunshot wounds. The officers began life-saving measures, however the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Farmington Police, one male suspect was taken into custody, and a firearm was located by police at the scene of the crime. Witnesses stated the shooting took place in the breezeway of one of the apartment buildings in the area. Farmington Police is still investigating with assistance from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
