Jefferson County, MO – On July 16, 2025 at approximately 10:00 pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the arrest of Marlon Redmond, age 56, of St. Louis, MO. According to the MSHP Redmond was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender.

In 2010, Redmond was convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison for Attempted Statutory Rape – 1st Degree – Attempt Sexual Intercourse with Another Person Under 14 Yrs Old, and Statutory Sodomy – 1st Degree. His alleged victim was a 13-year-old female. Redmond was released from Probation and Parole on 4/13/2025.

The above charges are mere accusation and not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
