MISSOURI (Nov. 3, 2025) — MRV Banks recently took action to support community organizations by donating computers to SEMO Network Against Sexual Violence (SEMO NASV) and Safe House of Southeast Missouri, helping both groups enhance the services they provide to those in need.
Dan Wyatt, MRV Banks’ chief information officer, said the donation aims to make a tangible difference for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. By providing computers, MRV Banks underscores its commitment to equipping local organizations and the people they serve with the tools needed to rebuild and thrive.
“We wanted to provide tools that make a real difference,” Wyatt said. “These computers will give victims of domestic violence and sexual assault access to technology that can help them learn, connect, and regain independence.”
For SEMO NASV, the donation provides crucial technological upgrades. Executive Director Alix Gasser said the computers will allow employees to remain compliant with HIPAA requirements and better serve survivors across southeast Missouri.
“Access to these computers will allow our employees to stay HIPAA compliant with required upgrades and provide vital resources to child and adult survivors in southeast Missouri,” Gasser said. “MRV Banks’ support truly strengthens our mission through safety and stability.”
Kim Dixon, interim executive director of Safe House of Southeast Missouri, said technology plays an important role in helping clients rebuild their lives.
“Technology can open doors for the people we serve, whether it’s applying for jobs, completing schoolwork, or simply staying connected,” Dixon said. “MRV Banks’ generosity gives our clients opportunities they might not otherwise have.”
Founded in 2007, MRV Banks is a locally owned, independent bank with locations across Missouri. The bank emphasizes community involvement and has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing financial institutions in the region.
