Festus, MO – A 23-year-old Hillsboro man was injured Monday evening in a two-vehicle crash on northbound State Highway P at Argonne Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 6:44 p.m., when a 2025 Yamaha MTN890 motorcycle slowed to make a left turn onto Argonne Road. A northbound 2012 Dodge 3500 pickup truck then struck the driver’s side of the motorcycle’s trailer, authorities said.

After the impact, the motorcycle began to slide and came to an uncontrolled stop.

The motorcyclist, whose name was not released, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Valle Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital Jefferson. The driver of the Dodge, a 40-year-old man from Festus, was not injured and was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
