Crystal City, MO – An 80-year-old woman from Imperial, Missouri, was cited after allegedly running a red light and causing a four-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Crystal City, authorities said.

The collision occurred around 2:30 p.m. on August 29, 2025. at the intersection of North Sixth Street and North Truman Boulevard, according to the Crystal City Police Department.

Police said the Imperial woman failed to stop at a red light and struck three other vehicles. the vehicles involved were a 2023 Nissan Frontier, a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, a 2025 Ford Taurus and a 2019 Buick Encore.

The impact caused the Silverado to flip and land on its side. Authorities did not immediately report any serious injuries though the ambulance did respond to the scene.

The driver from Imperial was issued a citation for running a red light, police said.
