Festus, MO – The winner of the 2025 Twin City News Photography Contest is Rob Chance. His beautiful photo of a female Eastern Bluebird diligently foraging to feed her young was captured this spring in an oak tree along the banks of Joachim Creek, within the confines of Crites Park in Festus.

Chance stated, “Crites Park is just one of my many favorite places in our little corner of the world.” Twin City News wishes to thank everyone who submitted photos and welcomes everyone to submit photos for next year’s photography contest.

Paul Barnard is the editor of the Twin City News. Barnard Graduated from Norwich University, America's oldest private military college, with a B.S. in Communications and Media Technology. There he studied journalism and marketing. For years after, Barnard was in law enforcement and gained experience in the Special Investigations Unit and publishing all the department's press releases.
