Crystal City, Mo. (Sept. 25, 2025) – A Crystal City man has been charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action in connection with a June 5 incident involving the alleged forcible theft of cash, authorities said.

According to court documents filed on Sept. 23, 2025, by the Prosecuting Attorney of the County of Jefferson, Travis Mitchell Wallace, age 37, of Crystal City is accused of acting with another individual to forcibly steal U.S. currency from a victim. During the alleged robbery, a co-defendant, Brandon Jackson, reportedly displayed what appeared to be a dangerous instrument.

Wallace faces one count of first-degree robbery, a class A felony under Missouri law, and one count of armed criminal action. Prosecutors allege Wallace knowingly participated in the robbery through the use, assistance, and aid of a dangerous instrument.

The charges were filed under cause number 25JE-CR01469-01. If convicted, Wallace could face significant prison time under Missouri statutes.

The above charges are mere accusation and not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
