Festus, MO – A new Hampton Inn & Suites is under construction on Shapiro Drive in Festus, next to Texas Roadhouse, and is expected to open in approximately eight to nine months.

The four-story hotel will feature 85 rooms, including a mix of king rooms, double queen rooms and king bed suites. Amenities will include an indoor pool, fitness center, conference room and a large, open-concept breakfast area.

The Festus Building Department approved the construction permit for the project on May 14. The Festus City Council has also approved a deal that includes tax abatements for the developer behind the estimated $16 million project.

City officials say the hotel is expected to support growing tourism and business travel in the region.
