Twin City News Festus Crash

On July 1, 2025 at approximately 11:00 pm, a truck overturned on Interstate 55 near Route Z. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) a 25-year-old female driver from Hazelwood, MO was driving a 2025 INTERNATIONAL MC607 southbound on 55 when she allegedly traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck the guardrail. She then overcorrected and overturned the truck. She was transported by Joachim Plattin Ambulance to Mercy Hospital for minor injuries.
