FESTUS, Mo. (Nov. 6, 2025) — The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the entrance ramp from Route A to northbound Interstate 55 this weekend as part of ongoing corridor upgrades in Festus.

The ramp closure will begin at 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, and is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9. Crews will install a drainage pipe beneath the ramp during the closure.

A signed detour will direct drivers on Route A to use U.S. 61/67 to access northbound I-55. The work is part of the Interstate 55 Corridor Upgrades in Jefferson County project.
