Festus, MO – On August 1, 2025, at approximately 9:00 am, emergency services were called out to the Dollar General on Route 67 in south Festus. An employee called stating a car jumped the curb and drove right into their caged propane tanks on the outside of the building.

No injuries were reported and Dollar General confirmed there were no damaged propane tanks and they were not actively leaking. There was no reported damage to the building.
