Juanita “Midge” Dunn, age 83, of Harlingen, Texas, departed this life peacefully on July 15, 2025, at the Camelot Nursing Center and Rehabilitation in Farmington. She was born on August 27, 1941, in Bonne Terre, to the late Leslie and Ethel (Griffin) White. Midge was a cherished soul whose warmth radiated through her love for crocheting and crafting, but her greatest joy came from her family. She dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting her loved ones, always ensuring they felt adored and valued. Her laughter and kindness will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elwood “Red” Dunn; siblings, Herman White and wife Onetta, John White and wife Joyce, Fern Kinnard and husband John; sister in-law, Cheryl White; and brother in-law, Roy Radford.
Midge is survived by two children, Anita Meyer, Leslie Dunn and wife Michele; grandchildren, Joseph Meyer, Sean Meyer, Jimmy Roussin and wife Sami, Ashlee Roussin and Steven Dunn; three great-grandchildren, Brayden, Chase and Roman Roussin; siblings, Pat Radford, Fred White, Bee White and wife Anna; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will resume Monday, July 21, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Reverend Ryan Retzer will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.
